Topfield TF3000Fi Updated Aug 11, 2004 FTA Satellite Receiver Programming This guide will assist in programming your receiver to enable reception of the Hope Channel, Esperanza TV, LifeTalk Radio, Radio 74, LLBN, 3ABN Television, 3ABN Latino, 3ABN Radio and many other Free To Air channels. Before attempting to program new channels it may be necessary to make adjustments to the dish and/or LNB to obtain a strong signal that reflects good signal and quality levels. Poor signal quality will affect the ability to program and properly receive additional channels. Adding New Transponder Information 1. Using the remote control, press the Menu key 2. Go to INSTALLATION, press the OK key 3. Go to CHANNEL SEARCH, press the OK key 4. Go to SEARCH MODE, press the RIGHT ARROW key to select MANUAL, 5. Go to TP FREQUENCY, enter the frequency ( i.e. 11983 for the Hope Channel / Esperanza / LifeTalk ) 6. Go to SYMBOL RATE, enter the symbol rate ( i.e. 5900 for the Hope Channel / Esperanza / LifeTalk ) 7. Verify that the POLARIZATION is correct ( Horizontal for the Hope Channel / Esperanza / LifeTalk ) 8. Go to START SEARCH, press OK 9. Upon completion of the scan the system will prompt for saving the changes, press OK 10. Press EXITto view the new channels Repeat the above steps to program additional channels |
