Hope Channel Special Report for Tsunami Aid

On Friday, January 21, the Hope Channel will broadcast a Special Report to raise money to help Seventh-day Adventists affected by the tsunami in Southeast Asia. To watch the Tsunami Adventist Aid program, tune to the Hope Channel at 7:30 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. Eastern or go to www.hopetv.org to watch by streaming video. The show is a half hour.

While relief agencies such as ADRA and others are providing excellent help and resources to the general populace in the stricken areas, the funds raised through the Tsunami Adventist Aid will go directly to Adventists whove lost their homes and livelihoods. Interviews with Division presidents Alberto Gulfan and Ron Watts, and a video report tell the story of our members and how they survived this horrific catastrophe.

Students from Andrews University and Adventist Information Ministries are donating their services to answer the phones to take the donations. One hundred percent of the donations will go to directly relieve the needs of our church members and to rebuild the work of the church in both the Southern Asia-Pacific and Southern Asia Divisions. The half hour program will rebroadcast on Saturday, January 22 at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. (Eastern). Please check the Hope Channel website for other broadcast times.
