Hope Channel to Broadcast Lets TalkSouth Pacific

Lets TalkSouth Pacific is coming September 5 (Sept 4 in some areas)with world church president Pastor Jan Paulsen. The Lets Talk broadcasts are live, unscripted, unedited, discussions where Adventist young people speak to Pastor Paulsen about issues that matter to them. The program will be broadcast from Sydney, Australia, and will include young people from all over the South Pacific.

Over the past two years young people from all over the world have been able to ask the president of the world church questions and receive direct, honest answers. Pastor Paulsen says of the broadcasts, I may not have all the answers, but at least we can talk.

Another goal of the broadcasts is to encourage and set an example for other leaders in the church to get actively involved in listening to young people and making sure they feel welcome in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Along with the broadcasts, Pastor Paulsen has set up the Lets Talk website. Young people can e-mail their questions directly to the Office of the President and have their questions answered by church leaders. You can find the Lets Talk website and more information about the Lets Talk broadcasts at www.letstalk.adventist.org.
