ATN News Notes -- No. 45, August 25, 2005 Hope Channel Implementing Major Broadcasting Upgrade During the past two years Hope Channel has experienced major expansion! Growing from one, to currently six separate channels, Hope Channel has expanded to provide broadcasts intended to meet the unique needs of various regions of the world. We praise God for His blessings! This rapid expansion has stretched the original broadcast capabilities of the network, particularly in the scheduling and broadcast server playout departments. Although viewers do not see this dedicated team of workers, this group is faithfully responsible for every second of the broadcast on each of the channels. The expansion of Hope Channel has stretched both the personnel, and computer programs used for playout of the broadcasts. Computer and software technology change very rapidly and it is imperative that Hope Channel continue to be up-to-date in this key area. These changes will significantly improve the capability of Hope Channel to respond more efficiently to programming priorities and give greater versatility and capacity for future expansion. It is projected this process will be completed by November 1. Thank you for your understanding as we make these improvements. We invite your continued prayers and financial support for Hope Channel. We are thrilled and excited with the expansion of Hope Channel and look forward to even greater effectiveness in our programming in the future.
